Marriage License Appointments
To obtain a marriage license in Hawaii, simply fill out the State's online application form and pay for your license online. The cost is $65 plus a $5 processing fee.

Once you fill out your information online, you must still have a meeting with a marriage license agent (this will be on a zoom call). Have with you at your marriage license appointment call: The receipt you were given from the online form (you will pre send her your Locator Number), a $5 processing fee (you will pay her by venmo online), and your driver's license (or passport), she will ask to see it on the call.
We will arrange your licensing appointment for you and provide you with the all the information: Date, time, & instructions for licensing appointment call. We will schedule your marriage license appointment call usually the day after you arrive. You may obtain your license and be married the same day. Your wedding coordinator will let you know all the information about your license appointment before you arrive.
Maui Appointments
If you are being married on Maui, an appointment with an independent marriage license agent will be arranged ahead of your arrival. We use two marriage license agents on Maui, which one we arrange will depend on where you are staying as follows: If you are staying in the Lahaina, Kaanapali, Napili, or Kapalua area (Upper West Side) we will arrange your appointment with Sherilynn Takushi at 181 Lahainaluna Road Suite H, you can contact her at her office at 808 276-6919.

If you are staying in the Maalaea, Kihei, Wailea, or Makena area (South Maui) we will arrange your appointment with Tammie Sugimoto Castro at The Four Seasons Resort in Wailea, you can contact her at her office at Send Email
Oahu Appointments
If you are being married on Oahu, it is not necessary to make an appointment for you ahead of time. Marriage license agents are available at the State Building in Honolulu. Business Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Please meet with an agent at the State Building in Honolulu located at 1250 Punchbowl Street on the corner of Punchbowl and Beritania Street downtown. See a map to the Honolulu State Building.
Bring with you to license appointment: The receipt / application that you were given online. Both of your driver's licenses or passports, $5 cash for processing fee.
Kauai Appointments
If you are being married on Kauai, we will arrange an appointment with our independent marriage license agent in Kapaa, with Kamika Smith at 174 Wailua Road, Kapaa, Kauai, phone (808) 821-6887. See map at Kamika Smith Map
Hawaii Appointments
If you are being married on Hawaii (the Big Island), an appointment with an independent Marriage License agent in Kailua-Kona will be arranged ahead of your arrival. It's very important to be on time for your marriage license appointment. We will arrange your marriage license appointment with an available licence agent. Please call us for arramgements.
Civil Unions
Civil Unions are done the same way marriage licenses are handled. Use the web site address above for Civil Union licenses. We will make an appointment for you in the same way we do it for marriages.
